William J. Smith

Education: - BS Exercise Science, Western Michigan University - MS Education-Health Programming, St. John's University - Current-Post Grad Certificate Premedical Sciences, Rutgers University

Will has continued to enhance his knowledge and experience, starting in 1999 as an Elite Plus Trainer with the Equinox Fitness Group before moving to Stevens Institute of Technology as Group Head Strength and Conditioning Coach and Administrator.

This precipitated his hiring at the Division 1 collegiate level, St John's University , where he assisted in managing a Big East Strength and Conditioning Department , establishing programs and educational guidelines for as many as 200 student athletes. This comprehensive rehabilitation and fitness education and hands on experience has evolved in Will's association with CANDO Fitness Clubs as a Post Rehabilitation Specialist and the In-house Education Program Developer. Will continues to earn additional medical certifications and experience through his associations with St. Barnabas Healthcare System, NY Presbyterian Hospital, and Lenox Hill Hospital.

Personally, Will practices what he preaches through constant conditioning, numerous triathlon and marathon finishes, as well as membership in the National Strength/Conditioning Association, American Association of Allied Health Professionals, United States Weightlifting and Phi Epsilon Kappa Honors Fraternity.

Will Power frequently volunteers its services for organizations such as Hopa-pa-looza, Bowery Medical Mission, and local healthcare venues.
